How long does a website take to build?
A focused landing page takes 1–2 weeks. A full marketing site with service pages, a blog and an editable admin panel takes 3–6 weeks. Web applications with authentication, payments or a customer portal take 8 weeks and up.
The variable that moves timelines most is content. Design and build run in parallel, but copy, photography and approvals are usually the critical path. Projects that start with content ready finish noticeably earlier.
Search results follow their own clock: indexing takes days, but meaningful ranking movement for competitive terms is usually a matter of months.
